Dan has over 17 years experience in planning, in which he has been involved in all areas of plan making and the implementation of strategic allocations and the planning application process.
Dan advises developers and housebuilders on their promotion of sites through Local and Neighbourhood Plans, and assists with the preparation and submission of planning applications and planning appeals. He also provides advice to landowners and developers on the suitability sites for promotion.
He has recent and up to date experience of the development plan and planning application processes, housing land supply calculations, negotiating section 106 agreements and CIL compliance, and the delivery of major residential sites.
Dan has secured planning permission for individuals, small companies, major housebuilders and developers.
Dan is organised and approachable, with good project management skills and quickly gains a strong understanding of the key issues affecting development proposals. He has a sound understanding of the planning process and knows how different local planning authorities operate.
