Richard has 18 years post qualification experience in planning consultancy and extensive knowledge of the planning system.
Working for independent planning practices through to large multi-disciplinary engineering and property firms, Richard has secured numerous planning consents for development of all types. He has also undertaken several land promotions and regularly undertakes planning appraisals.
Typical clients include landowners, land promoters and national and regional house builders. He has also helped commercial and education clients to deliver new schemes, enhance their existing assets, and dispose of surplus land for alternative uses.
Richard has worked on planning applications of all sizes, including a large urban extension.
