Planning permission for Grade II listed building

The team acted for UCR Construction & Development Ltd in securing full planning permission and listed buildings consent for the conversion of a Grade II Listed Building.

The secured planning permission means that the Grade II listed building can be converted into 2 dwellings and the erection of eight new build dwellings on associated derelict and underutilised land in Sileby, Leicestershire.

The proposal secures a positive and sensitive enhancement of an important derelict Listed Building providing the desperately needed investment to bring it back into use and to fulfil its real value within the streetscene. The proposal also secures the sensitive reuse of the wider derelict site providing a cottage style development that enhances the character and appearance of that land and respects the historical context of the area.
